Crayola Crayons, Markers and Sidewalk Chalk: The Art Box carries a variety of Crayola Products including the big 64 box of crayons, stubby thick crayons for little hands (also handy for coloring candle wax), Classic Markers and the fat stick Sidewalk Chalk.

Finger Paint and Paper: We carry the Sargent brand of finger paint in the 4 color and 8 color assortments. The Art Box also carries replacement paper since the paint usually outlasts the paper provided in the color boxes. This brand is fun, reliable, and inexpensive.

Face Paint: The Art Box carries an assortment of waterbased face paint sets. All are non-toxic and clean up with soap and water.

Liquid Tempera: Jazz Brand Liquid Tempera is easy and fun to use. Just open the bottle, pour it into a cup, and you are ready to start. There is no mixing necessary, although it can be thinned with water if you like your paint runnier. The Art Box carries 10 different colors.

Dry Tempera: Your best value in tempera paint, the Palmer Dry Temp brand mixes with water and comes in lots of beautiful colors including gold and silver.

Klutz Books: These wonderful books are for kids of all ages. The topics range from painting manuals to how-to books on beading, costumes and makeup. Klutz books usually have a hands on component, such as polymer clay provided with the book called Clay, or colored floss and beads provided with the book called Friendship Bracelets. The Books give good clear instructions and provide inspiration to move on to your own inventions. At The Art Box our selection varies seasonally, but they're so much fun we keep quite a few in stock.

Kids Easel: One of the main attractions at Creative Framing and The Art Box is a well loved and constantly used children's easel. Every day, moms come in with children who gather around the easel and draw while mom makes framing decisions or chooses art supplies. This easel has a dry erase board on one side, and a chalk board on the other. A roll of drawing paper is suspended at the top so the paper can be pulled down onto the hard surface for drawing. This sturdy, fold away easel has trays to hold chalk and paint cups, and is priced around $70.00. We can attest to its long life. Ours has been used every day for almost three years and it is still as stable as the day we put it together.
