Encaustics

Encaustic paints are pigments mixed with wax and resin then manipulated with heat. Once cooled, you can carve into it, reheat and encourage the colors to move and mix, or polish it to a sheen that cannot be achieved with other mediums. 

We carry R&F encaustic color blocks and Enkaustikos Hot Cakes pans. We also carry wax and resin crystals for making your own mediums.
